Homestyle barbeque just met business savvy.
Here at Saucehouse,
we can’t complain about 2018. The year brought us good food, good times and
good people. We were honored to be named UGA 100’s fastest growing “Bulldog
Business” in the country and continued to serve our community the best way we
know how- with lots of delicious barbeque. While 2018 was great, we know the best
is yet to come!
The Owner and Founder of Saucehouse, Christopher Belk, just announced the Athens location will double in size, giving barbeque-lovers double the reason to get excited.
On Jan. 14, Saucehouse purchased the next-door property that was previously Vic’s Vintage. The purchase includes two neighboring buildings and a parking lot. Within the next year and a half, the buildings will undergo renovations to create office space and most excitingly, an up-scale venue fit for group events and weddings.
“We
are so excited about these new additions at Saucehouse,” Belk said. “Our goal
is to not only provide customers with the best BBQ food, but to provide them
with the best BBQ experience. Additional parking, more kitchen capacity and a
new venue and office space open up countless opportunities to better serve
Athens and its visitors.”
Upon
completion, the venue will include multiple spaces such as a wedding venue, event venue, bar, bridal suite
and grooms room. Catering by either Saucehouse BBQ or Elegantly Southern, our
sister company, will also be provided at the venue.
With many things to
look forward to, Saucehouse couldn’t be happier to take our food and service to
the next level.
We hope to continue
to make Saucehouse a place where customers can enjoy life’s best moments. Whether
it’s a wedding day or a meal with family and friends, Saucehouse strives to be a
space where life is always celebrated and good barbeque is always served.
